I am Yongbum Kim, President & CEO of the Jeju International Convention Center (ICC JEJU).

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all of you for visiting ICC JEJU.

As the only citizen-participatory convention center in Korea, ICC JEJU is a unique public asset established through the collective will and solidarity of the people of Jeju. Born from the determination of Jeju residents to shape their own future, ICC JEJU has grown beyond a regional symbol of pride to become a premier platform for international exchange representing the Republic of Korea.

Over the years, ICC JEJU has successfully hosted major international events such as the Korea–ASEAN Special Summit and the Korea–China–Japan Trilateral Summit, contributing to national trust diplomacy and the expansion of global networks. Through prestigious events in fields such as academia, business, culture, and technology, we have enhanced the global brand value of Jeju while serving as a driving force for regional industry and economic development.

Today, ICC JEJU stands at a new turning point of advancement. The Second Convention Center, scheduled for completion in December 2025, will serve as a core infrastructure enabling Jeju to grow into a future-oriented MICE hub for Asia and beyond. Equipped with AI-based smart operation systems, digital hybrid conferencing platforms, and expanded international collaboration capabilities, the new center will create new value as a global business platform.

More than simply introducing the value and beauty of Jeju, ICC JEJU has sought to embody a sustainable and community-centered MICE model. Moving forward, we will continue to grow with the local community, coexist in harmony with our natural and cultural environment, and fulfill our responsibility to future generations as a public institution rooted in Jeju’s values.

Under our guiding philosophy—“Connecting the World with the Values of Jeju, Designing the Future from Jeju”—ICC JEJU will continue to pioneer new value in the MICE industry and drive strategies for national and regional growth.

ICC JEJU will always honor its identity as an institution built together with the people of Jeju, and we will continue our journey to become a leading national convention center that advances global cooperation and industrial innovation.
